This explains what Storming Software collects, why, and who else handles it. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

• When you reserve or buy: your email address, and the payment details you enter. Payment details go directly to Stripe. We see the last four digits and the card brand, never the full number.
• When you email us: your message and email address.
• Business contact details: we sometimes email businesses about a product we're considering. For that, we use publicly listed business information, such as a company name, website, and a work email address. Every such email says how to opt out, and we honor opt-outs.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Why we use it

To take and refund deposits and payments, to give you access to products you paid for, to answer you, and to ask for feedback on a product you reserved. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the providers below, who help us run the service.

Providers who handle data for us

• Stripe: payments and refunds.
• Supabase: our database.
• Cloudflare: hosting this website, and email routing.
• Resend: emails about your reservation or account.
• Smartlead: sending and receiving business outreach email.
• Hunter: finding publicly listed work email addresses.
• Google Fonts: the fonts on our pages. Your browser requests them from Google.

Stripe may set cookies on payment pages to prevent fraud. We set no cookies of our own on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep other information only while it's useful for the purposes above.

Your choices

Email markm@stormingsoftware.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us. We'll do it within 30 days.
