Deposits (pre-orders)

Before we build a product, we sometimes offer early access for a small refundable deposit. The amount is shown in US dollars on that product's page before you pay. A deposit reserves early access. It is not payment for software that already exists.

• Any time before launch: email us and we refund the full deposit. No reason needed.
• After launch: you can still get a full refund on request until 14 days after we give you access.
• If we decide not to build it: we refund every deposit in full automatically. You don't need to ask.

Paid plans

If a product launches with a paid plan, its price, billing period, and cancellation terms are shown on that product's page before you are charged.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through our payment processor, Stripe. We issue them as soon as we get your request. Your bank may take another 5 to 10 business days to show the refund on your statement.

How to ask

Email markm@stormingsoftware.com from the address you used to pay, and tell us which product it was for.
